Utility Assistance

Community Services Consortium has been providing energy assistance to residents of Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties for over 20 years, primarily through the federally-funded Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. The individuals and families we serve may, from time to time, need help keeping the lights on or heating their homes. When this happens, the services offered by our energy assistance staff can help.

In addition to the LIHEAP program mentioned above, our energy assistance staff works closely with local energy providers to assist residents of our area with past-due bills or disconnected service. Each of the providers listed below sets aside funds donated to assist their customers whose income may have been impacted by unemployment or another hardship situation which makes them temporarily unable to meet their financial obligations.
