Jobs and Finances

Community Services Consortium works closely with the Oregon Employment Department and our local WorkSource Oregon Centers to provide job search assistance to the people we serve in Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties who are unemployed, under-employed, dislocated from long-term employment, or youth just starting out their employment careers. Our goal is to assist all job seekers to secure employment and enhance job skills.

Looking for work can be one of the most stressful challenges we ever face. At the same time that we have to deal with the many feelings that come up with being out of work, we have to prepare ourselves to project our best, so we can do the daily tasks of job search, such as developing a resume, practice interviewing and identifying job leads. This is where CSC can help. Community Services Consortium’s trained staff assists job seekers to meet the challenge of job search with confidence and care.

CSC recognizes the significant impact that unemployment can have on finances, as well, and provides information and referral services, and confidential financial counseling for job seekers who are unable to pay their mortgages or rent.
