Housing

What We Do

Everyone deserves a place to call home, and CSC can help. We help people looking for housing, households facing eviction, and education services for tenants. Learn more below and find a list of local shelters in Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties.

-Saving for future notices as needed-

CSC has short-term assistance for those who need help getting back into rental housing. We can help with security deposits, rent, utility deposits, and more.

Do you have an eviction notice? CSC has programs that can help with back rent or security deposits for a new rental unit.

Have you found a new place to rent but need assistance with paying the deposit? CSC might be able to help!

CSC’s Rent Well classes can help with problems finding housing due to bad credit, past evictions, criminal history and more.

Assisting those in need

CSC can assist those who are homeless, at risk of losing their housing, or who have issues with their current housing that could be addressed with weatherization or energy education services. CSC staff are trained to assess each situation and offer appropriate services while treating everyone with respect and caring.

We offer a variety of services to help, and we work closely with committed partners to get the best information available about what programs are there to help individuals and families in our region.

Homeless

The first step to permanent housing is the Coordinated Entry assessment.

What is Coordinated Entry?
An assessment tool used to determine which of our programs is the best fit for you, based on your needs. It gives us a better picture of who you are, so we can serve you better.

How do I take it?
Either over the phone or in-person, with a CSC housing staff member.

What happens after I take it?
It is not an application for any CSC housing programs, it is just the first step. After completing the assessment, a CSC staff member will review next steps with you.

You can find a list of all shelters below. Or view by Benton County, Lincoln County and Linn County.
