What We Do
We offer a wide range of programs in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties, with select services in Polk County. Whether you need help keeping the lights on today, or planning for your career tomorrow, CSC is here to help.
Everyone deserves a place to call home, and CSC can help. We have programs to help people who are homeless and looking for housing, assistance for households facing eviction, and education services for tenants. Learn more and find a list local shelters below.
CSC provides utility assistance to help our community with some of the basic life essentials that everyone needs and deserves. We work between local utility providers and low-income community members to pay towards their power, gas and/or water bills, no shut off notice or late bill required.
We provide weatherization to qualifying households to increase energy savings and make homes healthier and safer by keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Our goal is better energy conversation for you and our community.
Linn Benton Food Share provides 5 million pounds of food to our local community through a network of 68 non profit partners. These include food pantries, meal sites, gleaning groups and supplemental agencies. Learn more and find our partners near you below.
We provide free preschool education to children ages 3-5 years old in a nurturing learning environment that includes parents as important resources for their children’s learning. Head Start focuses on the “whole child” and includes the child’s educational, health, family, and social needs. Learn more and apply below.
We offer an array of employment and educational programs for youth, adults, and the whole family. We know each person and family is different, so we offer something that speaks to everyone so we can build a stronger community. Learn more and apply below.
We send out newsletters monthly with program info, agency updates, news and events, involvement opportunities and other information for our partners, neighbors and community.
