We are dedicated to helping youth and young adults in Polk County discover and fulfill their educational and employment goals. Our variety of hands-on services and experiences build skills and stability for the future.
Paid work experience is designed to enhance goal setting. Experiences are tailored to individual preferences, with local, virtual, and project-based learning options available.
We specialize in hands-on training, engaging youth and young adults in developing the skills for current jobs and advanced training for future careers. We can help you:
Earn your GED
Our GED Pathway program sets you up to successfully earn your GED. This program is free to you and designed to work around your schedule.
Access to tutors
We have one-on-one tutors available to help you prepare for all four GED tests: math, reading/language arts, science, and social studies.
Prepare for college
We help you complete the necessary paperwork to apply for financial aid including FAFSA and Oregon Promise applications.
Participants may continue their education while getting paid to learn new skills with a local employer, or they can work in our outdoor programs or Makerspace. Through these experiences you will:
