The Polk County Family & Community Outreach (FCO) Department — with the help of local youths — distributed $30,000 in grants to support youth programs across the county.
The [Polk County youth program of] Community Services Consortium was awarded $3,000 to support the development of their student-led community garden, student computer programming upgrades, and other student-focused projects starting in the late summer of 2021.
