We are dedicated to helping 14-21 year-olds in Polk County discover and complete their education and employment goals. Our variety of services and experiences build skills for the future and engage in career exploration.
Paid work experience is designed to enhance career and education goals. Experiences are tailored to individual preferences, with opportunities at local businesses and government agencies, and virtual, project-based learning options available.
We specialize in hands-on training, engaging youth and young adults in developing the skills for current jobs and advanced training for future careers. We can help you:
Earn your GED
Our GED Pathway program sets you up to successfully earn your GED. This program is free to you and designed to work around your schedule.
Access to tutors
We have one-on-one tutors available to help you prepare for all four GED tests: math, reading/language arts, science, and social studies.
Prepare for college
We help you complete the necessary paperwork to apply for financial aid including FAFSA and Oregon Promise applications.
Participants may continue their education while getting paid to learn new skills with a local employer, or they can work in our outdoor programs or Makerspace. Through these experiences you will:
